Swedish Bhairavi Says: “Growing up, I had..”
Growing up, I had the freedom to explore everything and nothing when it came to self-development. The idea of gurus, gods, actual realization in this lifetime, or spiritual practices rooted in tradition seemed like nonsense to me, something beyond the realm of logic or modern life. Language barriers, cultural differences, and what I now understand as eligibility - the alignment of one’s inner state to truly resonate with a sincere path - kept me far from imagining what an authentic spiritual journey could even look like.
But “luckily”, a combination of events in this life and perhaps those before it (details I won’t reveal here now) kept me open-minded and eligible enough to have a chance.
Stepping onto the path of Seva and Sadhana, guided by the wisdom of the Siddhas, changed everything. There’s something extraordinary about seeing your practices ripple out into your realities, shifting things in ways the mind can’t fully grasp. It feels like nurturing your deepest self, pouring greatness into your being, and witnessing your evolution. A vibrancy builds within, a raw, undeniable life force.
It’s sensual, electric, and profound. It’s the feeling of strength, love, and transformation in every sense of the word.
The practices aren’t always easy. Procrastination is tempting, and starting and sustaining practices takes effort. But the rewards? They’re beyond worth it. The carrot is high in this one. Even if you incorporate just a fraction of one of the courses and books offered, (for example Dakini Dream Yoga), the effects will be profound and everlasting, no matter if full realization happens in this lifetime or not.
And I can tell you that the amount of pain and suffering you have had to deal with and hold space for in this life time so far, the Tamas, can be used as a strength in this journey.
So, take that first step, stay with it, and trust the process. Experiment, test, and evaluate it for yourself, especially if you don't think of yourself as the “devotee” type. Because the greatest gift you can give yourself is the chance to become everything you’re meant to be.
Good luck ;)
